Diverse-A-Thon Wrap Up

I started 2017 with a lot of energy and was eager to fly through my TBR. But that energy only lasted a couple of weeks. By the time the Dumbledore’s Army Readathon concluded on January 15th, I was exhausted and my reading definitely slowed down for the next week. But Diverse-A-Thon started on January 22nd and I was once again excited to read all the books! I had set my TBR to 3 books because I really thought the enthusiasm I had when I created it would allow me to meet my goal. However, I underestimated how much the inauguration of the new president (#NotMyPresident) would put a damper on my enthusiasm to do anything.

#DiverseAThon Returns January 22nd – Sign Up And Create Your TBRs!

Are you all ready for round 2 of Diverse-A-Thon!? I sure hope so because it returns January 22nd and runs all week through January 29th. Many of us are familiar with Diverse-A-Thon because we participated in the one that happened in Fall 2016. It was created by Booktubers Christina Marie, Joce, Monica, and Whitney as a reaction to an awful anti-diversity video I’d rather not discuss.’

My Dumbledore’s Army Readathon Sign Up, TBR, & Book Recommendations!

If you have not heard about it already, let me introduce you now to one of the most wonderful and exciting readathons I’ve seen in a while. The Dumbledore’s Army Readthon was created by Aentee from Read At Midnight. Its goal is to promote and uplift marginalized voices by encouraging readers & bloggers to read diverse books as a community event. The readathon will start on January 1st 2017 and ends on January 15th, midnight to midnight.

This Weekend I am Reading For 24 out of 48 Hours | #24in48

During the 48 hours that comprise July 23 and July 24 2016, I will be joining the #24in48 readathon. Have you heard about it? Are you joining? If not, really do consider it because huge readathons are great way to meet fellow book dragons and make reading an (even) more social activity as a blogger!

The goal is to attempt to read up to 24 hours in a time period of 48 hours. However, you can devote as much time to reading as you want! It’s very low pressure.
